About CMGMA

Chattanooga Medical Group Management Association (CMGMA) was founded in 1986.  Our organization is associated with the national Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) and the state of Tennessee Medical Group Management Association (TMGMA).  Several of our past officers have advanced to serve both on the state and national level.

CMGMA is a non profit organization. Its membership is comprised of administrators, managers and business associates from a wide range of venues that include solo medical practices, multi-specialty groups, hospitals and health care related businesses.  Currently we have 100+ active members in our chapter.

OUR MISSION

CMGMA's mission is to provide opportunities to our members for education and networking and to advocate the advancement of the medical group management profession.  The organization works within the community to provide a positive influence on the health care industry.  The organization serves as a resource for all facets that contribute to the success of a medical practice or business.

To be the source of excellence and innovation as the leading association in providing quality and timely services and resources for medical practice executives and leadership through professional education, through the exchange of ideas and information among members and by staying abreast of current healthcare issues, trends and laws.
